10 killed and wounded as district HQ stormed in Farah

FARAH, Jun. 23 – According to reports, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on Pusht Koh district administration center, police head quarter and surrounding defensive posts overnight.
Attacks which continued till early morning hours, resulting in 5 police killed and 6 others wounded as well as 2 rifles seized.
It is said that 2 Mujahideen were also wounded in the crossfire.
Later on, enemy has brutally martyred a civilian and has abducted many shopkeepers.
Separately, enemy is likely to have suffered causalities in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Tapa Awmadgan area of Pusht Rod district early yesterday.
