HERAT, Oct. 24 – Reports say, a heavy clashes broke out after ANA and ANP troops arriving Shalaq Jwn area of Gulran district for an operation early this morning. Gunfight in which heavy and light arms were used lasted till noon hours, during which 2 hireling tanks and a ranger pickup have been destroyed, leaving 6 police dead with further 4 severally wounded. According to details, 2 Mujahideen have also embraced martyrdom in the operation.
