10 killed, 4 injured in clashes

WARDAK, Aug. 1 – A series of Mujahideen attacks in Syed Abad district of Wardak province killed at least four puppets and left many others wounded early Sunday.

Shortly afterwards, the enemy targeted the village with heavy and light arms fire, leaving 2 children wounded.

In the province’s Jalriz district, 5 puppets were killed and 4 others wounded when a roadside bomb blast ripped into the enemy tank early Sunday.

Later, a puppet was shot and killed in a sniper attack, while a civilian was horrifically martyred by the enemy before the very eyes of the victim’s children in their home in the said district on Sunday.
