     NANGARHAR, June 9 – An innocent civilian was martyred when the enemy pounded the civilian areas with mortar rounds in Deh Bala district of Nangarhar province.


    Sadly, 5 innocent children suffered casualties when the enemy pounded residential areas with heavy weapons in Manawara district of Kunar province, while 1 child was martyred in Qarghayi district of Laghman province in enemy fire.

    In another brutal attack, 3 civilians were martyred and 4 received life-threatening injuries when one of the artillery rounds fired by the enemy rammed into the house of a civilian in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province.
