Following multiple investigative efforts by the anti-narcotics police, two individuals were apprehended at the eastern entrance of Kabul’s Wheel Bridge with 5,154 drug pills. Additionally, one person was detained in the Kang district of Nimroz with 9 kilograms of glass and a single measuring unit, all linked to heroin trafficking.
Moreover, law enforcement authorities arrested seven individuals in Khost, Parwan, Daikundi, and Parwan provinces for their involvement in the distribution, transportation, and consumption of narcotics. During these operations, the police seized 2 kilograms of opium, a quantity of narcotic pills, and alcoholic beverages.
