GHAZNI, July 20 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized a check post amid an offensive on Wednesday night while intercepting the reinforcements trying to reach the posts, Al-Emarah News said.

At least 4 puppets were killed and a further 7 suffered injuries with a tank destroyed in the fighting and a roadside bomb blast, it added.

Mujahideen seized from the enemy’s possession 3 Kalashnikovs and ammo, whereas a Mujahideen fighter was wounded in the exchange of fire.

In another report from Ghazni, Mujahideen fighters killed 5 policemen and left 3 others wounded in a one-hour long gun battle elsewhere in Shalgar district of the province yesterday night. A Mujahid fighter embraced martyrdom with 2 more injured in last night’s operation.

On Wednesday morning, an agent of National directorate of Security (NDS) was shot dead in Ghazni city, the capital of the province with the same night.
