KUNDUZ, July 21 – fighting raged in country’s north after Mujahideen combatants fought off the enemy’s joint operation backed by U.S ground and aerial support in the limits of Kunduz city, the provincial capital Kunduz province on Thursday.

At least 10 puppets suffered casualties in the fighting, while a roadside bomb blast blew up a US tank, killing 1 American invader and leaving another one wounded.

In the province’s Khanabad district, Mujahideen stormed the district center and its checkpoints early today, leading to a daylong fighting in which 4 major bases fell to Mujahideen, where the enemy forces were cleared of 3 huge villages.

As many as 11 Arbakis and 3 soldiers were killed in the fighting with an armored being destroyed, while   the main road between Kunduz city and Khanabad district has remained closed off.
