1 killed, commander along gunmen captured 

BALKH, Oct. 1 – A puppet was killed and 3 more including an officer were wounded in a gun battle lasting 2 hours following Mujahideen attack on the enemy combat post in Shortipa district of northern Balkh province on Sunday night.

Similarly, Mujahideen seized various kinds of arms and ammo from the enemy’s possession after they flattened the post.

Later, a roadside bomb blast hit and blew to bits a vehicle, part of the reinforcements called in to back the post under fire.

On Sunday, Abdullah an Arbaki commander and his gunmen were captured during a surprise attack in Chahar Bolak district of Balkh province, while a 2 Kalashnikov machine guns and 2 motorbikes were seized from the targets.
